What You Need To Get Started
- Mason Jar
- Small River Rocks
Create Your Mason Jar Herb Garden
- Add about 1 inch of drainage rocks to the bottom of your Mason jar.
- Fill your Mason jar with soil, leaving about 1-2 inches of open at the the top of the jar.
- Add your seeds.
- Add a little more soil to cover your seeds.
- Add water.
Tip: When you're watering your seeds the first few times, it's best to use a sprayer to moisten the soil. If you add a lot of water at one time you risk having your seeds fall deep into the soil which would prevent them from growing.
- Put in sunlight and water according to your seed instructions.
